My inspiration is in a constant state of renewal and rejuvenation, and I continue to marvel at the inventiveness nature reveals. It fills me with an overpowering wonder, excitement overwhelming me with each and every new discovery I observe.
How do I interpret and transfer this to a work of art? I wonder if I’m capable of achieving just a fraction of accuracy with this challenge.
With a belief and faith in my abilities, I have taken to aesthetic wanderings about on the artwork’s surface, working deliberately but spontaneously at the same time, all the while doing my best to keep the excitement of nature’s presence at my side.
Mixed Media: Acrylics (paint, ink - regular, iridescent and "shimmering", assorted mediums, resin fixative), graphite and metallic colored pencils, Sakura Pigma Ink, and various brushes and pens on acrylic gesso primed hardboard panel.
